two vessels hand built with black stoneware. unglazed on the outside and glazed on the inside. although they are glazed, they are a bit weepy on the bottom so if you use them as vases don't set them on wood.
this is a beautiful and finicky clay and has some peculiarities and flaws but i keep using it because it is so compelling. i have a hate/love relationship with it. i swear i'll never use it again and then i do.
